Welcome to Sequoyah Community Church. We exist to love God and love others. Join us in person or online every Sunday morning at 10am PST.
We are lovers of God’s presence. From worship to prayer meetings, and small groups to community service, our desire for God’s presence permeates everything we do at Sequoyah. We want to provide opportunities to know Him, worship Him and allow His transforming power to draw us to Him, making us more like Him.
Relationship is the heartbeat of Sequoyah. By valuing people for who they are we nurture a thriving, engaged community that bridges economic, racial, and social divides. We believe we’re better together and want to grow together as a community.
We are committed to loving God and being a community focused on learning what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. After His resurrection, Jesus spoke to his disciples, saying, “Go and make disciples of all nations …. teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). At Sequoyah, we are focused on being and equipping disciples of Jesus.
Serving others is a powerfully effective way to live out our faith. As we serve, we mirror the image of Christ who “did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 20:28). We serve God by sharing our gifts with others, both inside and outside Sequoyah’s walls. We use our unique spiritual gifts to point people to God, grow in our faith, and connect in community.
