Our Ministries

Ministry Groups are the heartbeat for building relationships here at Sequoyah. If you're new to our community, groups are a great place to start.

Men's Ministry

We are men who are committed to winning with God at home, church, and at work. We share a communal drive to be learners and leaders in our God-given influence.

Women's Ministry

We are a diverse community of women who come together through monthly events to build a deeper community, grow in our love of Jesus, and have fun.

Outreach

We believe it's vital in the Christian life to give back and live beyond ourselves. Whether it's to our community or to our world, Sequoyah provides regular outreach and opportunities to serve those around us.

School of Ministry

We assist those who are preparing to work in ministry, by providing affordable education through our partnership with WASC-accredited School of Urban Missions Theological Seminary, as well as internships that offer hands-on ministry experience.

Haven Youth

This is an all-inclusive ministry for ages 12-18. In the various services, events, camps, and outings provided, you'll find a safe, memorable, and laughter-filled environment geared towards building community and pushing each other towards Jesus.

Young Adults

We are a community of young adults striving to be more like Jesus, while building friendships that will carry us through all seasons of life.

Children's Ministry

We provide a safe place for children ages 4-11 to encounter God and learn about the Bible, while building friendships and engaging in fun activities. Our staff and volunteers undergo background checks and skills training to serve all kids, including those with special needs.

Nursery

Our nursery is open to children 0-4 years of age. We provide a fun Bible curriculum and engaging activities. Our staff and volunteers also undergo background checks and we provide a camera system to ensure your child's safety.

Triads

Triads are groups of three to four people who meet weekly to build relationships and challenge one another to become more fully devoted followers of Christ. This happens through group meetings, which include discussion of a discipleship study, prayer and simply doing life together.
