David Beiser


David and Sandi Beiser have been married for 25 years and pastored at Sequoyah for the last 13. They have an amazing and gifted daughter, Elise, who is the love of their life. God has allowed them to build a diverse community of incredible people who love the presence of God and sharing life together.  They have consistently impacted Oakland and the Bay Area through community service and outreach.

Randal Ong


Randal serves as the Executive Pastor at Sequoyah. While his job focuses on managing church operations, he is also driven to equip people for greater relational and spiritual growth. Randal and his wife Azalea, have four wonderful children, Joseph, Kayla, Elijah, and Benjamin.

Cori Windham


Cori has a passion for people experiencing authentic relationship with God. She is a compelling speaker who wants to see people walk in faith and be all God has called them to be. She has a huge love for coffee and dogs; one of her goals is own a French bulldog of her own.

Nathan and Lisa Jines


Nathan and Lisa are dedicated to serving the needs of community families.  With three children of their own, they love to help families grow spiritually and emotionally through healthy parenting and children’s biblical education.  When they’re not at Sequoyah, Nathan sells real estate, Lisa blogs, and they enjoy premium ice cream with their children.

Ken Shaw


Ken has been in ministry most of his adult life. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist providing professional Christian counseling to the church and community. At Sequoyah, he leads congregational care, where he’s led a Wednesday morning men’s prayer group for many years.

Bradford Ashley


Bradford is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who was radically transformed by the gospel. He focuses on sharing his faith with others and discipling men at Sequoyah where he leads both Men’s Ministry and Facilities. In his off-time, he likes to fish, study scripture, and read up on current events.

Valonna Fowler


With a background in both ministry and HR, Valonna brings an eye for excellence in her role at Sequoyah.  As a self-proclaimed “chronic learner” and someone who enjoys quality time, she invites people to become more who God designed them to be. She has a strong affinity for coffee and words.

Marvin & Hope Jordan


Marvin and Hope are passionate leaders for our Student Ministries department. Their heart’s desire is to mentor the next generation and see them on fire for God — in whatever capacity the Lord calls them next. As Bay Area natives, they are especially attuned to the students in this region.
